Bula Bites Sugar & Spice Café brings the taste of the islands to North Lakes.
We started with a simple dream — to create a place where good food, culture, and community come together.
From fresh cream buns and homemade sweets to curries, coffee, and catering, everything is made with love and served with island hospitality.

Our history
Bula Bites Sugar & Spice Café was created from a love of family, culture, and homemade island-style food.
Our journey started with simple baking from the heart — fresh cream buns, cakes, sweets, curries, and traditional favourites made with love and shared with our community. What began as a passion for bringing people together through food has grown into a welcoming café in North Lakes.
At Bula Bites, we are proud to serve food that reminds people of home while also offering something new for everyone to enjoy. From Fiji-style cream buns and island curries to breakfast, coffee, cakes, catering, and special weekend dishes, every item is made with care and flavour.
We bake many of our products in-house and prepare our meals with the same warmth you would expect from a family kitchen. Our café is more than just a place to eat — it is a place for families, friends, workers, and the community to come together, relax, and enjoy good food.
